Why we're starting a public log
Here's our situation, plainly: we're three people who started an ad agency, and we have zero clients and zero case studies. That's a hard thing to say on a website whose whole job is to get you to trust us with your ad budget.
Most agencies in our shoes paper over it — stock photos of a team that isn't theirs, a wall of client logos they may or may not have worked with, a screenshot of one good week with the account name blurred out. We'd rather just show our work instead. So this is the plan for this log:
- When we sign our first client, we'll say so here — and later, with their permission, what the ads actually did.
- When something we tried doesn't work, that goes here too. That's the part most agencies never tell you, and it's the part worth reading.
- When we learn something concrete about running ads for a local business — a targeting approach, an offer that lands, a mistake we made — we'll write it down here.
The honest reason this exists: a new company asking for your money owes you more than promises. This is us keeping receipts in public. If you want to talk before there's a pile of them, tell us about your business — we'll be straight with you about whether we can help.
